In 2017, my husband and I returned to Jamaica to celebrate our wedding anniversary and renew our wedding vows. It was such a magical time, and I would love to be back there right now. We did a lot of fun things, but today I am sharing my favorite snorkeling adventures at Sandals Resorts.

The Sandals Royal Caribbean offers a lot of different water sports. We could have paddle boarded or kayaked, or even sailed a bit. And, of course, they offer amazing snorkeling trips! We did it the first time we were on our honeymoon and I couldn’t wait to try it again!

More about having snorkeling adventures at Sandals Resorts:
Now keep in mind, I took these photos with a disposable waterproof camera, so they are not the best quality. Maybe the next time I go snorkeling, I can have a waterproof GoPro, or something that is made for snorkeling.
One of my favorite things about Sandals Resorts is that most of the water sports are included. So if you have never tried something before, it is a great time to do it. The staff is very knowledgeable and really enjoy what they are doing. I love that!
How to have your own snorkeling adventures at Sandals Resorts:
When we first arrived on the resort, we checked in with Club Sandals. They made our reservation for the snorkeling trip. The weather was kind of iffy, so we had to wait until the day of our snorkeling reservation to find out if we were going.
The first thing you need to do is sign in at the aqua sports desk.
We had a short walk from our room on the resort. Once we were there, we were quickly sized up for flippers and snorkel masks. I think I will invest in my own snorkel gear for our next trip to Sandals Resorts. My feet are small, and I was always worried they would fall off.
Our dive captain, Everal(he called himself trouble, but he was far from it) gave us a brief rundown and then we got in the water. My husband, unfortunately, took on some water and decided to stay on the boat. I felt bad for him, but I was having fun on my own adventure.
I couldn’t get over how close the fish were, and how pretty they were! Apparently I missed seeing a ray when my back was turned. I was kind of bummed.
After that, Everal hopped into the water with us.
And he very carefully introduced us to a new friend. Meet lady sea urchin. Isn’t she pretty? He said the ladies are fuzzy and cute. I took his word for it because I wasn’t about to touch her.
I have to say, I was truly disappointed when our time was up. I probably could have stayed out there a while longer. Bye fishy friends!
