Happy Sunday! It is hard to believe that February is half over already. It is bad in some ways, and awesome in others! Bad because I feel like I have a lot of things I still need to get done, and awesome because #1 it is staying light longer and #2 we are one day closer to Spring. In any case, this is what is going on in my world.

Life In General
Life has been so crazy hectic, despite the holiday season being over. Run here, run there. Tons of work projects to do. Frayed nerves. Let just say, I have not been the easiest person to deal with lately. Part of the reason is that I put too much pressure on myself, and feel like I fail those around me if I don’t get everything done. Can you relate?
As you know, Valentine’s Day just passed by. It is amazing how things change as you get older. I could care less about flowers or candy or other trinkets. We did try to go out for dinner, but it ended up a disaster, so we just had dinner at home. Know what? I loved it even more. Goes to show you how things change and evolve as you find out what is most important to you.
With all this running around, I am starting to feel like I am getting sick. I don’t have time for it. I have work inventory coming up in 3 weeks, my travel adventure(keep reading to hear more about that) in less than 2 weeks, so I really can’t afford to be laid up with sickness.
Normally on Sundays when I am off, I eat lunch at my ILs. I decided that I would stay home today, drink water, and lay on the sofa while I do some blog work. I have my two guard lions(A.K.A Fred & George)helping me out too. Trouble is, I can’t move now, and when I try to reposition myself, it offends them.
In The Home
Now that it is getting closer to Spring, we are getting back into our home improvement project: replacing our backyard shed. After 22 years, it has reached the end of its lifespan. One of our local home improvement places will be teaming up with me to do just that. Stay tuned for more about that in the coming weeks.

In The Kitchen
Nothing going on in the kitchen, unfortunately. My work schedule has been pretty tight, and I just don’t have the energy to do much cooking, let alone trying to create new recipes(which I am not really good at, either). So nothing new there. I will leave you with a link to one of my favorite recipes for the slow cooker: Slow Cooker Creamed Chicken Over Biscuits.
It is the perfect comfort food for those chilly days that are still hanging around.
On The Horizon
So this leads me to my last thought: it is almost time for the Permission To Hustle Carnival Cruise Retreat. Pretty exciting and, like I commented last time, is a first for a lot of things for me. I guess I will find out once and for all if I have what it takes to be a blogging entrepreneur. A business woman. A digital influencer.

Let me tell you one thing, I am NOT going to give up easily. Without a fight. Without giving it my all. Being chosen for an opportunity like this is awesome all by itself. But the real question for me is will I let it be my springboard or will I be frozen with the fear of trying? I guess I will find out over the next 3 weeks.
In other news, our next trip to Sandals is now paid in full, and it is the waiting game. I really can’t wait to be on the beach with my honey & have my favorite drink in my hand. People that have been to Sandals can understand just how special the resorts are.

So there is just a bit about what’s going on in my life right now. I hope you follow along with my sea adventures. Just use this links in the box below or type in #PTHCarnival on your favorite social media platform.
