I am the first to admit that Winter is not my favorite time of year. I am a lover of sand and sun and the beach, but there are those that really love Winter. For me, I would rather hunker down with fuzzy socks and a good book. But, thanks to a great opportunity, I had the pleasure of experiencing a Christmas Candylane at Hershey Park.
Many of you are familiar with Hershey Park, home of the best(in my opinion) chocolate in the world. We are lucky that we live a little over an hour away, so it was easy to get there. After all, who doesn’t love a quick & tasty trip during the Winter months.
Experiencing A Christmas Candylane At Hershey Park:
The great thing about experiencing a Christmas Candylane at Hershey Park is that you have 2 trips in one. During the day, you get to enjoy most of the rides. But as the sun goes down, the Christmas lights come up!
Mr. Reese’s Cup is definitely one of my favorite friends. It is a good thing this guy was made of lights instead of chocolate, otherwise I would have made him into a Winter snack!
If you have never been to Hershey Park, you need to know that it is very hilly, so wearing boots with good grips is a great piece of advice, especially if there is snow on the ground. Luckily for us, we had a beautiful crisp night with clear skies and no snow.
It was so pretty to walk around and see the different displays. I especially enjoyed the sign at the beginning of the light display.
My favorite part about this excursion was that my husband and I turned it into a date night. I know that Hershey Park is for families, but I wanted to share that it makes a great place for grown-ups too. It gives you a chance to get on all those rides you couldn’t when your kiddos are with you. For us, it was the roller coasters!
After we got our fill of the roller coasters, we decided to have a quick snack. A Christmas Candylane at Hershey Park had some cute winter-themed treats as well.
After that we just walked around and enjoyed all the lights.
We topped off our trip to a Christmas Candylane at Hershey Park by stopping at Hershey’s Chocolate World for our favorite ride. It is a great chance to warm up, snuggle on the ride, and have a sweet treat at the end.
So if you are looking for a fun trip this Winter, be sure to head to Hershey Park. They even have some great hotel and event packages if you are coming from a long distance. Fun for the entire family because they have an indoor waterpark!
